The best mobile browser games โ no app store needed
Touch-friendly games that run in Safari and Chrome on a phone: no install, no permissions, no storage used.
Phone games have a cost that is not money: three hundred megabytes of storage, a permissions dialog and a notification habit you did not ask for. A browser game has none of that. You open a tab, play, and close it.
The catch is controls. A game designed for a keyboard is miserable on glass, so on mobile we only show titles the publisher has certified as touch-ready for your device โ iOS games on an iPhone, Android games on an Android phone. Everything below is in that set.
The picks

1. Block Blast
Designed for a thumb. Probably the single best mobile-web puzzle we host.
Play Block Blast
2. Stack Fire Ball
One-touch control, instant restart โ built for short phone sessions.
Play Stack Fire Ball
3. Om Nom Bounce
Drag-and-release physics that feels better on touch than on a mouse.
Play Om Nom Bounce
4. Candy Time
Classic match-three, which is a genre that was always meant for fingers.
Play Candy Time
Add the site to your home screen if you play often: it opens full-screen without the browser chrome, which gives you back about fifteen percent of the display, and still takes up no storage.
Frequently asked
- Do these games work offline?
- Not reliably โ most load their assets from the network on each visit. A cached game may open offline, but do not count on it.
- Will they drain my battery?
- 3D games use the GPU and will warm the phone. Puzzle and card games are very light.
